submitted by Kaleb M. - |Recommended: YesIt's alright — The cons are that the entrance should be a one-way. Too tight. Neighbors are ALL friendly, though one is quite loud. The pros are it is close to shopping of any kind grocery, auto, clothing . Their are a LOT of restaurants nearby. Driving or walking. Neighbors are ALL friendly. On-site laundry is good. Neutral for maintenance as subletting, and nothing required yet. Sure it will be good.

submitted by Dustin J. - |Recommended: YesQuiet and Happy — The surrounding apartments are quiet. People keep to themselves but aren t afraid to start a friendly chat every once in a while. Everyone is respectful on our side. The apartment is adequate space for when it was just the two of us. Maintenance responds to requests right away. I am especially thankful that when we had all of the snow last year, the sidewalks were cleared that day. There are some upgrades I d like to see, especially with the windows, but overall, it s a nice place to live.

submitted by Monique - |Recommended: YesI loved this place! Could not recommend enough for a single person — I moved into West Anthony Apartments in August of 2006 and stayed there until May of 2008. It has been, far and away, my best experience with an apartment. It is the perfect place for a single person or cozy couple. I loved this little apartment. Here are the Pros: 1. Management is flat-out fantastic. I wasn't getting paid over the summer, which meant I would likely have to move out for 3 months, however, they suggested using my apartment as a model for a few months to help me save on rent. When my stipend kicked in late and my rent was about 5 days late, they were totally sympathetic and understanding about it. I had an issue with the heat, and they fixed it the next working day. 2. Closets galore. Good grief, this place has the storage. MASSIVE amount of storage. Four closets! I mean, the amount of stuff you can store is crazy! 3. Low bills. I never paid much for either water or gas/electric while I lived here. Since it's on gas heat v. electric, I was spending nearly half of what a friend spent at a nearby nice/new apartment. 4. White noise. This is likely to be polarizing, but when sleeping at night, I could hear a gentle WHOOSH of the cars travelling along the freeway. I love this sort of white noise. To me, it is the urban equivalent of wind in the trees. I always slept so well here. 5. Spacious but Cozy. From the size of the kitchen to the front-hall closets, this place had enough room to fit ALL my stuff, yet felt really homey. Kind of like a cozy T-shirt. The Cons? 1. Oven. When I first viewed the apartment, I was put off by the small size. Honestly, it was never a problem, and I used it a lot. If you want to cook a 18 pound turduckin or something, it might present troubles. I felt silly that I thought it was an issue. 2. Dishwasher, or lack thereof. Found this pretty off-putting, but it was less trouble than I originally thought it would be. Get a scrub-brush with a handle you can fill with soap, makes the dishes a snap. Problem mostly solved. 3. Age. Yeah, it's older, but I never noticed because it was REALLY well-maintained. The latter means more than the former. In the time I was living there, I had a single problem that was resolved in 24 hours. My friend who moved into a brand-new complex had sooooo many problems with maintenance he had them on speed-dial. 4. Neighborhood. The apartment next to mine was a bit sketch, but as a single woman, I never felt unsafe. It is nearby some lower income areas, but the people in the neighborhood seemed like hard-working/decent types, or at least they were in 06-08. 5. Laundry facilities. For me, this was the only real/continual annoyance, because I didn't work normal-person hours to get myself to a laundromat. I should have made a friend who had a washer/dryer in their home.
response from property -Thanks for your detailed review. We are really glad to hear all this feedback. If you lived there now, you would be enjoying our newly built laundry room!

submitted by Jaclyn B. - |Recommended: NoSpacious, but not well insulated. — The apartments have lots of closet space, but you can hear every noise from the driveway, street, and highway.. and even your neighbors apartments. There should be plenty of parking, but if anyone parks crooked there isn't enough room. The maintenance staff is friendly and they get things done rather fast.
