Quiet and Professional|Recommended: YesGinger Creek is comfortable, quiet, and relatively safe considering being in a college town. Although it could use some updates in the kitchen, we are extremely satisfied with living here.
Hi Ashley. Thanks for your review! We have investing heavily in our 2-bedroom floorplans right now and have some available if you'd like to see. Just let us know!
Nice, quiet place to live. I feel safe here. |Recommended: YesI like living at Ginger Creek. Crime rate seems low, making it a pretty safe area to live. I was worried it wouldn't be at first because Springfield Ave is kind of rough in some spots, however I feel pretty safe in this complex. My apartment is not one of the updated units, however I feel as though they all need to be updated. My cabinets and fixtures are old, and everything is very delicate and breaks very easily. I have already had to have maintenance come to my apartment 4 times in the five months that I have lived here due to things breaking, because they are old. However, I will say that when something does break or needs fixed that it is done in a timely manner. I just think its time to go ahead and update all units. Parking is also a slight issue. There is not always a parking spot available in my lot so I will have to park in the next one over and walk, but this doesn't happen often so not too big of a deal. The staff is genuinely great. They are truly there to help and are very friendly. I would say that when my lease it up, I will renew and continue living here.
Thank you, Breanna! We love our residents and strive for each one to feel the way that you do!
I love the property.|Recommended: YesLiving at Ginger Creek apartments is really nice. The apartment itself is well maintained and well kept. The location of the apartment is also very convenient especially if you are a college student because a bus stops right in front of the apartment complex. Also, I've submitted work orders and they get done within two days
Thanks for the review, Kristina!
I'd live here again|Recommended: YesI have been in Champaign for 2 years pursuing a Masters Degree at University of Illinois. I can say that my stay at Ginger Bend has been pleasant. I have been comfortable in the space I don't like to feel crowded , with big furniture, the utilities were very manageable, and I have felt safe.
Thanks for your review Denysha!
Fantastic apartment |Recommended: YesBeautiful and well-kept apartments at Ginger Creek. Repair crews always come in a timely fashion usually same day . I like having covered parking to reduce snow piling up on my car. I also like the in-unit washer dryers. I never hear my neighbors through the walls - the perfect environment to study. Well-kept grounds too, with pretty flowers and trees and a little path to walk on outside, across the street from a park with a small lake, too.
Nice and Clean |Recommended: YesOverall, I love the apartment at Ginger Creek. The area is very nice and pretty. Maintenance is fast, and the insides of the apartment look and feel on the newer side. But, I would have to say that the apartment is on the pricier side, and it is far from campus. Even though there is a bus stop directly in front of the apartment, it takes an hour to get to and from campus, and sometimes a transfer is required. Despite these two problems, overall I am satisfied with my experience living at Ginger Creek
Ginger Creek|Recommended: YesMy husband and I love living in Ginger Creek. The apartment has more than enough space for us to feel at home along with a solid amount of amenities that make living at Ginger Creek easy. The community is quiet but inviting and the location is perfect a homey haven right on the edge of the all the Champaign bustle.
Thank you, Ashley! We love that you're happy in your home! Thank you for choosing Royse & Brinkmeyer.
Good Starter Appartment|Recommended: YesCypress is a lovely style except for the location of the lights. If you want a bright room you will need lamps. The Bathroom toilet could have been built closer to the bathtub to allow for a toilet paper holder on the sink or the sink could have been shorter. Instead, the location is on the back wall which is not an easy reach and will be pressed against the wall. I suggest you buy a stand. At least they don't have it under the towel rack like our last apartment which caused it to be wet all the time. Now that it is winter, all of the settling cracks are showing in the ceiling but we have not has any problems with leaks. The sliding glass door is not energy efficient glass and allows a lot of cold exchange. Other than the normal things you expect from an apartment, we do love living here because of all the greenery and dont plan on moving until we find a house.
Thank you, Dan, for your review. We always welcome reviews that open our eyes to things we may be able to do better. And we certainly enjoy having you as our resident. Thank you for choosing us as your home!
Very nice complex with well kept grounds and friendly staff.|Recommended: YesGood location, a bit far from campus but the area is great with lots of food options. Nice park and lake across the road. Apartments are well sized and the shared garage is great
Thank you, Rajesh! We love having you with us at Royse & Brinkmeyer!
Nice and Quiet For the Most Part|Recommended: YesIt's a quiet community - not a lot of kids. The neighbors are friendly. The apt is spacious and very well laid out. I adore the large kitchen and cabinet space. The balcony is a delight - large and stable. I love sitting out there. I can hear the neighbors upstairs but nothing more than the typical movements of living and they are sensitive to noise levels in the evening. In short, my apt and the complex is a quiet haven after spending a frenetic day at work. I love it here and intend to be a long term resident.
Thank you, Katharine! You are an absolute pleasure to have as a resident!!
Very good|Recommended: YesIt is not close to much, but very quiet.
Dylan, thank you for the review!
A haven for a PhD student - far away from undergrads! |Recommended: YesI love living at Ginger Creek. It s the quietest apartment building I ve ever lived in (out of seven), beautifully well kept, and under the NICEST most considerate management I ve ever encountered. Coming from the city, it s also ridiculously affordable. My Ginger Creek apartment would easily be thousands in Pittsburgh.
