|Recommended: YesHome — First time moving to another state the staff really worked with me to make it possible. My whole stay here has been everything I needed it to be.
Thank you, Zakk! We're happy that you love where you live!
|Recommended: YesIt is worth its price, i guess. Needs to be updated — okay
Thank you, Jonathan!
|Recommended: YesWonderful space, great windows for lighting — I really love my apartment floors, my nice kitchen and a great updated bathroom. My windows provide a lot of light during the day which I also enjoy.
Thank you, Patrick!
|Recommended: YesWonderful apartment — I love my apartment The wood floors are magnificent and its a good size for one person. So far I've had no problems with noise or with bugs other than some ants in the summer. The only things I would change would be the size of the kitchen I'd love about three times the counter space since I only have about 12 and the parking lot can be difficult to get out of.
Thanks Connor. We appreciate you and your feedback!
|Recommended: YesCozy place to live — Awesome location, nice place.
|Recommended: YesState Street Apartments are great — I loved living the in State Street Apartment complex. I stayed there for four years, and only moved because I had to move out of town for a job. The apartment itself is very cozy with good fixtures and appliances. Maintenance requests were always handled VERY promptly and efficiently. And the staff at the office is so nice and helpful. Great place to live
Thank you, Jennifer, for your review! It has been our pleasure to have you as a resident. We'll miss you when you go!

|Recommended: YesNice affordable apartment close to transportation — Pros -Access to public transportation is fantastic - there are several stops, but primarily access to the Green bus -Lovely hardwood floors in some units -Large bedroom - big enough to make a bedroom study space -Plenty of storage for one person large bedroom closet, hall closet, and large linen closet -Great bathroom fixtures shower door, large mirror Cons -I generally don't hear my neighbors, but do hear when people slam their doors shut it makes my door shake -The hallways often smell like cigarette smoke, people often smoke right outside the entrance -People often throw their junk mail on the ground next to the mailboxes, however this often gets picked up a couple times a month -Small kitchen and only half-size appliances I knew this coming in - accepted it as is, but it is still a con -Crammed bathroom When I sit on the toilet my knees will touch the shower door
|Recommended: YesClean, good maintenance, the right size, convenient, good location — It's a great spot for graduate students who need to be close to campus, but would enjoy the convenience of being near downtown Champaign.
|Recommended: YesLove it! — Very convenient to downtown Champaign. I feel safe and a very quiet building.
|Recommended: YesGood but needs dishwasher — Convenient
|Recommended: YesVery nice. Great location, bright, and nice layout. — It's centrally located. The apartment is small, but bright and the layout is open. The people at Royse and Brinkmeyer are very friendly and responsive.
|Recommended: YesPretty nice - good location and friendly staff. — It is interesting how this building (and apartments) seem to be a fusion of old and new. Some window frames for example are quite old, and the laundry room looks very old. The bathroom, on the other hand, is very modern. The rent is affordable, however it may come as a surprise that a new resident has to pay a lot of fees, and there are also opening fees for mobile and network contracts, also electricity etc. I can sometimes hear my neighbors a bit too well, but it does not disturb me. Should I answer 1 or 5 on the scale below, if I hear them well?
