|Recommended: YesEasy Living nice apartments — Pretty awesome, way better than living on the u of i campus.
|Recommended: YesPeaceful community, great value for money! — Stonegate village is an excellent off-campus option. The apartments are spacious and well equipped. It s very well connected for commuting in the C-U area and has good access to basic needs such as grocery, gas stations and some restaurants/deli. Tons of parking!
|Recommended: YesAffordable and close to amenities. — Our 2-bedroom 1.5 bath apartment is very affordable. I just wish the kitchen was a bit more updated. There is plenty of square footage and we like being on the top floor because of the vaulted ceilings.

|Recommended: YesLove the community and amenities! — I love it here. It's quiet and my neighbors are nice. Whenever I have a maintenance problem, the staff are super quick and courteous. You guys are so reliable! I feel sorry for my friends who have awful, uncaring landlords. The apartments and appliances are a little old, but I don't really mind. When my AC broke down, the maintenance guys were really great about getting it fixed in a timely manner, when it kept going out. They always let me know what was going on, and were so polite! I can't hear my neighbors unless they're running around upstairs, but that hardly ever happens, and it's not loud at all. I feel safe here, which is a big deal. All of the residents are good people, despite the neighborhood not being the best. I'me so glad I'm here and not somewhere else! The washing machines take huge loads, which is awesome, because I can get a lot done at once. I also like the cleaning crew that comes in to clean the halls in front, it makes things really nice! :) I've never had to park far away from the doors. The onyl "problem" I have, which really isnt a big one, is the outdated appliances. But I have a gas stove, which is absolutely wonderful, and the fridge does great. I don't mind older stuff as long as it works, which it always does! The apartments are suuuper spacious too, wonderful for entertaining guests.
Thanks for your review of Stonegate Village... We really appreciate it!
|Recommended: YesKinda pricey but you get what you pay for — Great location, not terribly overpriced but not cheap for a 1 bedroom.
|Recommended: YesVery good apartments, love the view and ambience — Grt patio wid house, Good maintenance, very airy apartments, nice lighting
|Recommended: YesClean, quite and comfortable — Stonegate Village is an excellent place with great service. They treat you like a real person and if there is ever a problem, they are there to help!
|Recommended: YesI love this place! — This is the best apartment I've ever lived in. It's clean, in a nice area, and the apartment itself is really nice.
|Recommended: YesGreat layouts and customer service, skinny parking spaces with limited parking — If a great place to live but make sure you have a small car. But it is excellent besides the parking.
|Recommended: YesClean, comfortable, feels safe, friendly staff, definitely feels like home. — I would say that it seems like a pretty good neighborhood, the apartments are nice, and it's a place where I can feel like I'm getting my money's worth for the space.
|Recommended: YesExcellent floor plans! excellent maintenance crew! WOOD FIREPLACE!!! — The floor plans and vaulted ceilings are awesome! The maintenance crew usually fixes things the day of or the next day. More than enough parking. Apartment heats up really fast. FIREPLACE!! nothing but pure awesomeness. Bus stops right outside the complex, with excellent schedules for buses to UIUC Complaints: Bedroom windows are not well insulated (at all), gets REALLY cold in my bedroom even when the heat is on. Although, the plastic insulating wrap that goes over the window buffers this pretty well. Also the common hallways outside the apartment stink, in the summer its pretty awful....keeping your front door closed keeps it out. But this should really be fixed....doesn't lend to good first impressions. The final one is, my air condition didn't work the day I moved in....in the middle of July ...with a heat index around 110F (no joke)....wouldn't this be something they would check when getting the apartment ready? Again poor first impression Aside from the 3 listed complaints this place is just great. I like it here If you get more Michiganders or people from the cold north, sell them on the wood fireplace...it's your bread and butter
