Resident Reviews

submitted by Lauren S. - |Recommended: YesGreat, safe property — It is a very nice, quiet neighborhood that is extremely safe and has a good home feeling. Royse Brinkmeyer do a great job of keeping residents informed of what is happening and also listening to resident concerns.
response from property -We really appreciate your feedback Lauren!
submitted by Richard L. - |Recommended: YesNice place to live. — Living here is convenient for me because it is close to were I work. It also has good access to I-57 so it is easy to visit my family.
submitted by Rachel K. - |Recommended: YesI enjoy living at prospect pointe — I would say i enjoy it very much and like my neighbors
response from property -Thank you, Rachel! We enjoy having you as a resident!!
submitted by Zachary S. - |Recommended: YesIt is what it is — It's a very simple property in a relatively quiet neighborhood. Absolutely no extras, but everything you would need. We already had a washer and dryer. Maintenance has been very responsive. Walking to the mailbox in the winter is a drag
submitted by Payton F. - |Recommended: YesWould recommend — Nice area, friendly people. Lots of parking space, which is nice. Staff is usually great in cold weather months clearing out snow in a timely fashion. Only issue I have at times is the noise. The walls seem very thin and allow noise in from everywhere. It's not ideal, but hasn't been a deal breaker for me. Overall, though, I've had a good experience here. I'd definitely recommend it to other people.
response from property -Thanks Payton!
submitted by Shana H. - |Recommended: YesGreat But a few minor improvements would help — I have loved my time at Prospect Pointe. Parking can be an issue and I think parking spot lines would make all the difference So many people park too far from the next car and waste a lot of space. Also well marked handicap spots because it is hard to read some signs. Neighbors above can be quite loud especially with families. We have neighbors where their baby cried so loud it would wake me up in the middle of the night and they would run a vacuum cleaner after midnight.

response from property -Thank you Sree!
submitted by Elizabeth Y. - |Recommended: YesOverall good, except for the ice rink — Excellent location near stores, bike path, and main roads. Quiet if you don't mind road noise. Friendly neighbors. Maintenance is good at getting stuff fixed. Minor downside in winter weather -- I have yet to see them plow or salt the parking lot. During snow or ice it becomes snow-packed or turns into an ice-rink. Not a big deal for people decent driving skills and those with a good sense of balance, but I would caution elderly as the situation can be dangerous for them.

response from property -Thanks Peter!
submitted by Elizabeth G. - |Recommended: YesVery happy — I have been very happy living in Prospect Pointe. It's only been a short time, but I feel very safe and at home.
response from property -Thanks Elizabeth!
submitted by Katrina B. - |Recommended: YesGreat apartment and neighborhood- noisy between apartments — I really enjoyed my year living at this apartment complex based on the location, staff, and parking. I did not like how I could hear full conversation with the neighbors above me I had first floor apartment . I never heard neighbors beside me though so this could just be the apartment I had. I really enjoyed using the Oasis Overall this is a great place to live.
submitted by Rachel V. - |Recommended: YesVery nice place — I love living here as a student. It is quiet, although I can occasionally hear my upstairs neighbors. The community is very peaceful and calm and the neighborhood feels very safe. It is close to several grocery stores and lots of other amenities. I love it here
submitted by Deonee P. - |Recommended: YesI enjoy living here. But since the new year thee are double the cars parked near my place. No room for visitors. Don't want to invite people and take anyones parking space, but yet I don't see any more people living in the building . — Its nice and seems like a more professional type crowd, not just college students or younger adults just wanting to share an apartment.
submitted by Earl W. - |Recommended: YesThe best of the two that I have rented from. — Very quiet and tranquil....the oasis is wonderful
response from property -Thank you, Earl! It always makes us happy when residents choose us, and choose us again, as you have! Thank you for your loyalty to Royse & Brinkmeyer!
submitted by Andrew R. - |Recommended: YesGreat place to live, occasional noise. — Overall this is a great place to live. Far enough from campus that you do not get noisy college students but still very accessible to Champaign-Urbana. The location is also great because it is right next to Shnuck s grocery store and Savoy movie theatre. Staff is very friendly and quick to respond to problems. The only negative is that you can occasionally hear your neighbors, but this could just be my personal experience.
response from property -Thank you, Andrew! We appreciate your residency with us, and we're happy you are satisfied with your home!
