|Recommended: YesNice — Maintenance responds and fixes issues very quickly. Good location.
Thank you Sree!
|Recommended: YesOverall good, except for the ice rink — Excellent location near stores, bike path, and main roads. Quiet if you don't mind road noise. Friendly neighbors. Maintenance is good at getting stuff fixed. Minor downside in winter weather -- I have yet to see them plow or salt the parking lot. During snow or ice it becomes snow-packed or turns into an ice-rink. Not a big deal for people decent driving skills and those with a good sense of balance, but I would caution elderly as the situation can be dangerous for them.
|Recommended: YesGood apartment — I am happy about the apartment. Good service and maintenance team Great job
|Recommended: YesVery happy — I have been very happy living in Prospect Pointe. It's only been a short time, but I feel very safe and at home.
|Recommended: YesGreat apartment and neighborhood- noisy between apartments — I really enjoyed my year living at this apartment complex based on the location, staff, and parking. I did not like how I could hear full conversation with the neighbors above me I had first floor apartment . I never heard neighbors beside me though so this could just be the apartment I had. I really enjoyed using the Oasis Overall this is a great place to live.
|Recommended: YesVery nice place — I love living here as a student. It is quiet, although I can occasionally hear my upstairs neighbors. The community is very peaceful and calm and the neighborhood feels very safe. It is close to several grocery stores and lots of other amenities. I love it here
|Recommended: YesI enjoy living here. But since the new year thee are double the cars parked near my place. No room for visitors. Don't want to invite people and take anyones parking space, but yet I don't see any more people living in the building . — Its nice and seems like a more professional type crowd, not just college students or younger adults just wanting to share an apartment.
|Recommended: YesThe best of the two that I have rented from. — Very quiet and tranquil....the oasis is wonderful
Thank you, Earl! It always makes us happy when residents choose us, and choose us again, as you have! Thank you for your loyalty to Royse & Brinkmeyer!
|Recommended: YesGreat place to live, occasional noise. — Overall this is a great place to live. Far enough from campus that you do not get noisy college students but still very accessible to Champaign-Urbana. The location is also great because it is right next to Shnuck s grocery store and Savoy movie theatre. Staff is very friendly and quick to respond to problems. The only negative is that you can occasionally hear your neighbors, but this could just be my personal experience.
Thank you, Andrew! We appreciate your residency with us, and we're happy you are satisfied with your home!
|Recommended: YesWell up kept apartments — I would tell a prospective renter that it is a great community to live in. The maintenance man is timely, really good at what he does, and takes pride in his work which isn't common among some people in the trade. I would also tell them that the community manager is really nice and is willing to help with whatever the problem is. The only complaint I would tell them is noise from neighboring apartments can be slightly loud at times so if you were to rent from here try to get an apartment on the second floor.
Thank you, Zachary, for the wonderful review! It is very rewarding to hear that your residents are happy with the level of service provided! We try to always be top notch!
|Recommended: YesGreat location and floor plan — Great location and floor plan. A little noisy, but overall I feel safe and taken care of Helpful staff. I would recommend to others.
Thank you, Kelly, for the wonderful review!
|Recommended: YesGreat place, great neighborhood. — The apartment is really nice with a large kitchen. The floorpan is one of the best I have seen. I love the neighborhood, especially the nearby shopping. the only problem I have is the noise from the neighbors above me. There is a lot of jumping, running, stomping and I am not sure what else. At times even the blinds shake.
Thank you for your review, Susan. We appreciate that you enjoy living with us, and like your neighborhood. While some noise is to be expected in multi-family housing, we expect your neighbors to be respectful. We are happy to assist you with noise issues, if you are finding a neighborly chat doesn't help. Thank you for choosing Royse & Brinkmeyer!

Prospect Pointe is in great condition and they do normal upkeep to ensure it stays that way. They really care about my needs and safety, and make me feel welcome when I go to their office. Very friendly staff. Great experience overall, that's why I've already lived here for over 4 years now

|Recommended: YesNot Bad, but Could be Better — I live in the 401 section of Prospect Pointe my apartment is a two bedroom on the lower level along Curtis Road. I moved into my apartment in Aug 2015 at first I enjoyed it. As the months have come gone, though, I have changed my opinion slightly. For the negative side, I have four main complaints. First, when setting up my dryer, I discovered that the exhaust runs directly into a crawlspace under my apartment - rather than to the outside. Since I'm allergic to mold, this has been a slight worry for me. Secondly, I've noticed that almost none of my doors are level my entrance door is not properly sealed causing a slight draft . Thirdly, parking near my apartment can sometimes be a hassle. There aren't any lines on the pavement, so some of my neighbors will park just far away enough from another car so that another one can't fit in-between. This occasionally causes me to have to part in front of another section of my building walk to a little bit to my entrance door. My last downside is that I can hear the people above my apartment rather well. I've never heard someone run their blender so often they listen to their radio TV at excessive volumes during the evenings - sometimes making it hard for me to sleep at night. For the positive side, I also have four things to highlight. When it comes to maintenance, Jim is very helpful caring. When the ice-maker in my kitchen quit working, he had an entirely new refrigerator bought installed in my apartment within a few days of my request. Secondly, the grounds are always clean well-kept. I don't believe that I've ever seen litter on the grounds. Another positive is that the neighbors that I've spoken to are all fairly friendly - although I've yet to run into any near my age. Lastly, my apartment is just a short walk to a yellow route bus stop the shopping center in Savoy - which has stores, groceries, restaurants. Overall, the apartment itself isn't too bad. I do believe that the rent is slightly higher than what it should be for the quality, but since it's so close to U of I shopping - I don't consider it a major issue. If you're considering the complex, just know that it's not quite as pretty as the show apartment, but the staff maintenance crew will do their best to make your time there enjoyable.
