  • Billing Support Specialist

    Salary: $43,680


    The Billing Support Specialist plays a key role in the day-to-day operation of Royse + Brinkmeyer Apartments. The successful candidate will have a comprehension of basic accounting practices and strong organizational and communication skills. As part of our accounting team, the Billing Support Specialist

    logs daily work orders, processes timesheets, and generates billing. Other responsibilities include managing inventory parts and products, including receiving and recording new items in the stock room(s).


    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Bills labor and materials used to maintain all assets
    • Works with the Director of Maintenance to create daily “boards” for maintenance employees and teams
    • Assigns work orders as they are received and deploys maintenance techs
    • Maintains parts inventory for various departments
    • Researches costs, and orders inventory and supplies
    • Calculates receivable bills
    • Orders and tracks tools, parts, appliances, and other inventory items
    • Responds to requests for orders from various departments
    • Maintains parts area in a neat and efficient manner
    • Checks out inventory
    • Reports discrepancies between physical stock and computer records
    • Provides administrative support for Director of Finance, Maintenance, and Facilities
    • Other duties as assigned

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Continuous bending, crouching, reaching, repetitive motions, standing and moving about the entire workday
    • Occasional heavy lifting
    • Ability to sit for long periods of time

    Qualifications

    • Must be at least 18 years of age and earned a High School Diploma or the equivalent
    • Must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and valid auto insurance
    • Experience with use of multi-line phone
    • Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Suite
    • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
    • Highly motivated with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Ability to solve complex problems by reviewing relevant information and developing or evaluating available options
    • Trustworthy and ethical
    • Prior experience in the warehouse environment preferred
  • Maintenance Technician

    Salary: $20-$24/hour | $41,600-$49,920 annually

    Job Description

    Responds to maintenance and repair service requests, carries out preventive maintenance tasks, prepares apartments for turnovers. Maintenance Technician ensures safety and functionality of the property’s buildings and equipment and ensures optimal service is provided to our customers. A solution-oriented professional who excels in a fast-paced environment. This role demands superior customer service and unwavering follow through.


    • Responsible for mechanical inspection, diagnosis and repairs for both occupied and vacant apartment units
    • Performs appliance repairs
    • HVAC installation and repair
    • Plumbing installation and repair
    • General handyman repairs
    • Report physical deficiencies of properties to Director of Maintenance
    • Snow removal and ice prevention during winter months
    • On Call rotation required

    Physical Requirements

    • Continuous bending, crouching, reaching, climbing, repetitive motions, standing and moving about the entire workday.
    • Heavy lifting may be required
    • Long periods of walking and standing
    • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs repeatedly
    • Ability to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold

    Qualifications

    Salary: $17-$20/hour


    Responsible for painting apartments, building interiors, common areas, and offices to ensure residents receive high

    quality apartments and buildings and offices are maintained attractively.

    Reports to:

    • Direct: Director of Maintenance
    • Indirect: COO

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Perform appropriate level paint application on vacated apartments
    • Paint hallways, laundry rooms, offices and common areas of apartment buildings
    • Perform paint repairs
    • Report physical deficiencies of properties to Director of Maintenance
    • Snow removal and ice prevention during winter months
    • Paint railings, doors, and exterior locations, as assigned

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Continuous bending, crouching, reaching, climbing, repetitive motions, standing and moving about the entire workday.
    • Some heavy lifting may be required
    • Ability to lead a team
    • Ability to apply paint for long periods of time
    • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs repeatedly
    • Ability to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold
    • Ability to work overtime, if needed

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Seasonal Groundskeeper

    Salary: $16-$17/hour


    Job Description:

    Responsible for meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, flower beds, and containers. Ability to work

    autonomously in addition to working within a team to achieve company goals and standards.


    Reports to:

    • Direct: Grounds Supervisor
    • Indirect: Director of Maintenance

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Weeding/watering grounds, flower beds, walkways
    • Removing trash from grounds, walkways, and within trash collection stalls
    • Cleaning light fixtures and exterior entry areas
    • Cleaning and stocking outdoor amenities
    • Cleaning exterior windows
    • Maintaining pet waste stations
    • Report physical deficiencies of properties to Director of Maintenance
    • Snow removal and ice prevention during winter months
    • Assist on larger-scale grounds work, as assigned

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Effective communication skills.
    • Continuous bending, crouching, reaching, climbing, repetitive motions, lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and moving about the entire workday.
    • Ability to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold
    • Must be willing to work overtime as needed

    Salary: $16-$17/ hour


    Responsible for cleaning apartments, building interiors common areas, and offices to ensure residents receive high quality apartments, and buildings and offices are maintained attractively.

    • Direct: Cleaning Supervisor
    • Indirect: Director of Maintenance

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Perform full cleans on vacated apartments
    • Perform touch-up cleans on apartments prior to resident move-ins
    • Clean hallways, laundry rooms and common areas of apartment buildings
    • Regularly clean interior windows of buildings and offices
    • Clean Maintenance, Corporate and site offices and common spaces
    • Report physical deficiencies of properties to Director of Maintenance
    • Snow removal and ice prevention during winter months

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Continuous bending, crouching, reaching, climbing, repetitive motions, standing and moving about the entire workday.
    • Some heavy lifting may be required
    • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs repeatedly
