  • Maintenance Services and Billing Coordinator

    Salary: $18-$20/ hour


    We are looking for a Maintenance Services and Billing Coordinator to join our team! The Maintenance Service and Billing Coordinator plays a key role in the day-to-day operation of Royse + Brinkmeyer Apartments. The successful candidate will have comprehension of basic accounting practices, and strong organizational and communication skills. As part of our Maintenance team, the Maintenance Service and Billing Coordinator logs daily work orders, processes timesheets, and generates billing.



    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Creates Maintenance Boards and schedules/implements scope of work
    • Bills labor and materials used to maintain all assets
    • Responsible for ensuring work orders are responded to in a timely manner and proper quality control measures are in place
    • Communicates clear expectations for all staff, regarding scope of work to be completed
    • Greets visitors
    • Answers phones
    • Responds to resident issues
    • Assigns work orders as they are received and deploys maintenance techs
    • Calculates tenant charges
    • Checks out inventory
    • Vendor scheduling
    • Provides administrative support for Director of Finance, Maintenance, and Facilities 
    • Other duties as assigned 

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Continuous bending, crouching, reaching, repetitive motions, standing and moving about the entire workday
    • Occasional heavy lifting 
    • Ability to sit for long periods of time 

    Qualifications

    • Must be at least 18 years of age and earned a High School Diploma or the equivalent 
    • Must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and valid auto insurance
    • Experience with use of multi-line phone
    • Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Suite 
    •  Excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills 
    • Highly motivated with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team 
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Ability to solve complex problems by reviewing relevant information and developing or evaluating available options
    • Trustworthy and ethical
    • Prior experience in the warehouse environment preferred
