Paying Rent

The utilities you pay for will depend on your property. If you have any questions about which utilities (if any) you need to set up and pay you can always contact your community manager!

Utilities that are not in your name at the beginning of your lease will result in additional charges. Review page 2, section 9 of your Lease Agreement for more details.

Ameren (Gas + Electricity)

As a part of your lease, you signed a Utility Addendum*. This allows us to set up your gas and/or electric service beginning on the first day of your lease term. You are responsible for paying any utility charges to Ameren directly.

*If you do not have a social security number you will need to contact Ameren directly to set up your service.

Illinois American Water

It is best to do this about 2 weeks prior to your lease start date, but no earlier than 60 days. You are responsible for paying Illinois American Water directly.
